This issue we are going to look at two terms. One you may of heard of and the other just plain silly.

Unique visitor
This is an important term because some sites exaggerate their number of unique visitors. A unique visitor is someone with a unique address who is entering a web site for the first time during a specified period of time. If the time period is one day, a visitor that comes back that same day is not counted twice. Make sure when reading statistics on sites that you know how they figure out their unique visitors.

blog
This is not something that you find at the bottom of a drain. It is a frequently updated web publication of an individual's personal thoughts and web links. People who travel extensively often do this so that friends and family can find out what's going on.
